The trip to Inuyama, including air transportation, ground transportation, and lodging, will be expensive. While the flute choir will be making about a dozen appearances in order to raise funds, the expense of the trip still presents a financial burden to the families of the choir members. Some members of the choir may not be able to make the trip without additional support from the community.

Donations can be made to the Davis Youth Flute Choir by mailing checks payable to “Davis Art Center” with the memo “Davis Youth Flute Choir” to the Davis Art Center, 1919 F Street, Davis, CA 95616. The choir is under the nonprofit umbrella of the art center. The Davis Art Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. All donations to its programs for which no goods or services are received are tax-deductible. The art center has written, “The Davis Art Center is proud to sponsor this exciting undertaking by the Davis Youth Flute Choir and we wish them the best on their journey!”
